Your checklist stays on your device.

How to Fish.ing does not require an account. This page explains saved checklist progress, optional analytics, ads and external links.

Local tool data

The progression and achievement tools use your browser’s local storage to remember checked items. This information stays in that browser unless you clear it. The site does not receive a copy of those checklist selections.

Advertising

The site includes optional Google AdSense placements. Advertising code stays off until a real publisher account and ad slot identifiers are configured. Once activated, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure and personalize ads according to Google’s policies and your available consent choices.

You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services on Google’s partner sites policy page.

External links

How to Fish.ing links to Steam and third-party game guides as sources. Those websites operate under their own privacy and cookie policies.

Embedded fonts and images

The first build loads typefaces from Google Fonts and game images from Steam’s content network. Those providers receive the normal technical details sent with a web request, such as an IP address and browser information.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity are available only after you choose “Allow analytics” in the consent panel. GA4 reports visits, traffic sources and interactions. Clarity provides aggregated usage patterns, heatmaps and session recordings with sensitive page content masked by default.

If you keep analytics off, neither tracker is loaded. Your choice is saved in this browser’s local storage and can be changed below. Google and Microsoft process analytics data under their own privacy policies.

Policy changes

Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new update date. Advertising should not be enabled until the live privacy and consent configuration matches the services actually running.
