Strafe the spin
Cross the shark's line rather than trying to outrun it backwards.
Island 3 · Desert · Optional utility boss
Buy the Standard Boss Lure on Desert Island, cast from open ground, and strafe sideways when Blue Shark begins its spinning approach. Use a strong ranged weapon, keep the body intact, and carry it to the Grill master to unlock cooking.

Turn and deal damage while the shark corrects its direction.
Do not stop beside a palm tree while the boss is still closing.
The reward comes from delivery, not merely recording the kill.
Fix the failed run
Use the symptom, make one correction, and go again.
